Venture Photography Workshops and Tours

I've had 2 experiences with Venture Photography and have learnt so much from both. I did a 1 on 1 with Sengh where I learnt how to use a flash from 0 experience prior. And, I did the Intermediate group class also with Seng. Both sessions were informative, engaging, welcoming to all skill levels and lots of fun. I walked out of class feeling confident and excited. Will be booking more in the future for sure! Thank you

Had a great weekend with Seng from Venture Photography on the Balingup weekend workshop. Great small group of guys. Seng gave advice on natural light portraits and landscape photography. We also discussed other issues regarding photography and Seng shared his knowledge with us. Seng also made sure everybody in the group understood the information prioritised our photo taking rather than his. Cheers Seng

Fantastic two hour ,one on one session with Seng on Saturday. Even though I am fairly experienced, I want to get better at studio lighting and different modifiers, and mastering studio light. I learnt so much-and really excited, about putting into practice all I learnt. Seng has immense knowledge, and imparts his knowledge in a fun, calm, way, with tons of patience (especially someone like me asking tons of questions:)-I cannot recommend Seng highly enough--will definitely do more with Seng! The best.!

Few weeks ago I had the priviledge of going to Cocos Island with Seng (the owner of Venture Photography). I am not one to write reviews, however as I am still going through the many images I took, the least I can do is write about this amazing experience. If it wasn't for Seng's knowledge of the place, connection with the locals and his ability to make sure I captured the perfect shots, I would have returned with some very average images. He took us to places with photo opportunities that I would have never known existed had I been there by myself. I highly recommend any of his tours/workshops as not only Seng will go out of his way to help you get the perfect shots, but his wealth of knowledge is priceless.Thank you Seng!

I was in need of some one-one-one tutoring in Lightroom; so I reached out to Seng from Venture Photography.Seng was fantastic from the moment I made contact; prompt and professional, and happy to work within my current work schedule. We arranged a time and then Seng set about tailoring a workshop to suit my level of experience, and what I was wanting to achieve from our time together.I cannot recommend Seng and Venture Photography highly enough! The workshop was incredible, well worth the cost of the one-on-one fee (which was not as expensive as I thought it would have been, considering he comes to you).Seng is a born teacher - he has a way of explaining the modules and applications that even a beginner can understand (like me), plus he provides you with a booklet to keep for future reference. He is also available for support after your workshop which is really handy.I thought I had an OK understanding of Lightroom from reading up on the program and watching tutorials, but Seng taught me so much more and provided a deeper level of understanding, plus made sure I was grasping everything as we were going along in the workshop.I highly recommend Venture and Seng for any workshops or one-on-one sessions! Thanks so much Seng, I can't wait to apply everything I have learnt!!

Another awesome Workshop at Team Digital from Seng Mah at Venture Photography. Inspiring speakers, followed by shooting different models, Seng as usual there to offer advice and help with lighting setups as required. Ben from Team Digital available to offer help and advice on equipment and camera gear. A thoroughly enjoyable day.

Seng and Venture Photography were recommended to me by a colleague. I recently signed up and attended the 3 hour beginners course and was not disappointed. Learnt and understood more in this class than I did in a 6 week course a few years ago...all comes down to the instructor. Classes are small and Seng certainly makes the technicalities easy to understand. He is patient, personable and ensures all questions are answered. I will certainly be signing up for other courses in the future (after plenty pf practice at mastering the basics).

This is my second workshop with Seng from Venture Photography and I can not recommend him enough.Seng offers a laid back, yet informative learning environment where you feel comfortable to be vulnerable and ask any question (no matter how stupid you think it may sound!)100% recommend

We had a flash photography lesson with Seng Ma and I truly learned a lot, his style in teaching is very straight forward and very easy to understand, This is truly one of the best Photography lesson I've had!
