Easily the best photography course I have ever done! Garry, thank you for being the first person to make me fully understand how to get off Auto Mode! Garry delivers his course with a totally 'hands-on' approach. No sitting in a room watching a confusing PowerPoint presentation. You actively take photos and he helps you understand how to use each setting on your own camera and in different settings and light. His online notes and cheat sheets are simple, factual and to the point. Cannot recommend Garry highly enough.

Just did a session with Garry last night. As a Novice I wanted to know the basics of my camera and basics about how to take a good photo. Garry was well prepared, had good hand out information and talked me through everything that I wanted to know. He also has followed up and given me tips on where to go to get reminders on what I learntI am happy to recommend his course

Very informative training! Garry is a fantastic teacher and takes you through photography fundamentals in a practical step by step process. It was great to have some hands on help and be able to chat through the process with him. Would highly recommend!

This, my first Photography Workshop, exceeded my expectations. Gary is friendly and knowledgeable, but more importantly a very good teacher. His hands on" approach - us using our own cameras ourselves from the very beginning

Really excellent small group lessons. Garry took us from Auto through P, A, S and to Manual mode, making sure each person knew how to make adjustments on their own camera. We did before/after shots to better understand the difference our settings can make. Doing the course over two sessions, at central Perth locations, meant that participants could practise between sessions, and any questions we had were addressed the second week. Garry also gave us notes at each session as well as reiterating concepts all the way through. I have a much greater understanding of how to get the best out of my camera. Thanks, Garry!
